[W126 Coupe] 560 SEC value list

To all,

As I have mentioned previously, I have been collecting ads from various
sources to monitor the going "market price" on the last year of the 560 SECs
imported to North America. The only data i collect is for 1991 SECs for
which the seller provides the VIN number. The VIN number helps me assure I
am not recording the same car more than once if it changes hands. I also
hope to get an idea of just how many of the 2,138 that were produced that
year still remain. Besides the VIN, the database includes the mileage,
interior and exterior color, sellers state, date of listing, whether private
or dealer and , of course asking price. I do not record condition or any
other subjective info. To date I have 40 entries in the database. I thought
the group may be interested in some of the results so far. All are for 1991
560 SEC for the North American market.

Average mileage: 119,198
Average asking price: $11,397
Lowest mileage: 14,595
Highest mileage: 282,640
Highest asking price: $39,000 (16,000 miles)
Lowest asking price: $2,470 (215,733)

Anyone wishing to contribute to the effort need only to provide the above
info. If your car is not for sale, indicate what it would take to get you to
sell it. Please be realistic. 1991 SECs only please.
