Remembering the Old Days Regards to the Old goop & The Fun We Had.
Atten: <><> The old Members that's made it happen
.You can always rely on Steve Narvig to keep every thing in Order<><>
Without Steve we may not have "Any" of these great Pictures of all the trips
planed through the MBCoupes sight <> For several years we were all very
active to make this sight the very best sight. We sure enjoyed the pleasures
of owing a Mercedes coupe.
There was a lot of trips Planed & every one really enjoyed making plans in
advance making sure we had our two way radios to help enjoy the fast pace
(Speed) we laid down.<><> Think about the countless enthuses spending years
to finish a 55 Chevy. & only to figure out that car will stay in the Garage
for years<> maybe seeing daylight once a year to go to a car show. Hummm
<><> Not this goop we use to make it happen. Making big planes Two or three
timed a year we wanted to put down some miles. <><> Every one always got
alone & we looked forward in helping each other making our Cars Perfect.
Anyway I still have the White 88 SEC with almost 70,000.<> That made it to
the Las Vega & Kansas City Shows, Its still Trouble Free in show Room
Condition <> One of my Best Memories was Leaving Las Vegas after the Great
Get-together we all worked on <><> Thanks to Mike Ramay & The Cavazos in
keeping every one on the right page,<><> (What A great time we had) <>
After the event Barry & Pattie Corno Judy and myself left Las Vegas @ 9:30
AM and arrived in Portland ,OR @ 12:00 Midnight . Think about it That is
over 1000 Miles In 14 1/2 hours included Gas & food stops we laid down some
speed and the SEC loved every minute of it." Averaging" speeds "Over 105
going from Vega across the desert. Would you do that with your 55 Chevy. I
have had restored Corvettes that sat in the Garage for years putting 200
Miles on the car in five years. Whets it all about anyway.
I have been Very Busy Building a New house and the cars have been Stored I
look forward in putting some Good times together again.
Steve & Gerry <><><> Have some of the right ideas " Maybe what we have can
still be as great as it has was in the Past.
Thanks to all the old Timers. We Had Some Fun
