Just as an FYI..the rotor can be sanded to bright metal and reused for
another 40k. Just keep the edge square. There should be minimal metal
removed. The interior contact points on the cap should be filed smooth (no
pitting) all debris should be wiped clean when you are done. I have 80k on
my 300se rotor which I have dressed up twice. Last cleaned 30k ago when I
did the top end of the motor.
