Hi Folks
    Decided to visit Canada,Vancover & BC in particularfor for over three 
weeks,I got the impression over the years that car hire in North America was 
inexpensive and yet to hire

   an econony small car (Suzuki Swift,Hyundai Elantra etc) with CDW or LDW 
coverage is working out to over $75 CAN a day and yet I have hired a Toyota 
Yaris and Ford KA in

Australia,the UK and Ireland for $25 to $27 per day I did have an excess of 
$2500 (and it was for three weeks)but that was covered by travel 
insurance.Havent seen any reference to

excess with the Canadian hire Companies if anyone has any advise I would be
