[W126 Coupe] I'm may be getting screwed, I need help in establishing value on my SEC for insurance claim

I agree with Paul they must settle and quick..

My 1967 Buick Sportwagon got rear ended. It was totaled. The
Insurance company offered $2000 I told them that I restored the car
and had receipts for much more than $2000. They wanted the receipts
and I said no just replace the car. I had pictures of the car from
various shows.
After a lot of whining mostly mine I got $16,000 and then shockingly
they added tax on top.

The medical payment wasn't so easy which amazed me. Check your state
law on how long they have to settle.

Keep fighting you have the upper hand.
