[W126 Coupe] 87 560 sec blower fan not working

Hi all, hope all is well. I tried researching archives, but could not get on. I have an '87 560 sec , the interior blower stopped blowing and compressor not working either. Fuses look good and I swapped climate control with known good unit. I do not have power to brushes on blower,but do have a good ground. Also, I hear a buzzing sound under ecm unit at fire wall in engine bay. Looks like an electric heater control valve?  Should that be running all the time? Thanks for all help, Peter
