[W126 Coupe] spheres

Dan,

To drain/bleed the system you can loosen the nut on top of the SLS valve
which is attached to the rear sway bar in the middle.

First, make sure it is your spheres though. A lot of other things can cause
"thumping". For one, the rear swaybar links, if you have them, can be bad
and cause this. They are cheap and easy to replace, just 2 bolts each. Or
the rubber buffers on the rear struts, one top, one bottom, when they get
old and flattened can cause this.

If you do get the spheres, do yourself a favor and only get genuine MB.
Yes, they cost more money, but the aftermarket don't have a history of
lasting as long, and you'll find yourself doing the job again after a short
amount of time or miles.
