Thanks for the quick reply. Looks like the connection is a push on but not sure. The connection has threads on the inside that the blue cap screws onto. What do you think?

The R134 connections are push on (no threads) and the R12 connections are threaded. Whatcha got??

Just got my 91 SEC back from a trusted Mercedes specialist independent shop for an A\C charge. He said the car needed a partial charge and the temp now at the vent was 42 degrees. On the paper work it says he used R134A refrigerant. As far as I know my system is still R12. There are no tags or decals saying anything different. Can you put R134 into a R12 system? What damage can this cause? Its the weekend so I can't verify what he put in until Monday. Any suggestions?
