[W126 Coupe] A/C Question About R12 & R134

My 134 fittings all have a small thread on the inside, where the
schrader valve and the cap screw in.
The r12 fitting is threaded both inside and out, and only about 3/8"
overall diameter as opposed to the roughly 1/2" of the r134 fittings.
