Hi Robert,
My wife and I went on the 'Classic Tasmania' run last year. The first three
nights were in Launceston. A very pretty place. Cradle Mountain and
surrounds are a must see.
It was cold and wet for lunch up there but in Hobart, the hotel staff wanted
the day off because it reached 30C!
