Thanks for the feedback.  Will have trouble sleeping tonight... lots of
silly things I forgot to check during the first inspection (last weekend).
The oil diff leak was on the rear of the diff, so will certainly check the
levels if the car becomes my property.  In fact, I'll baseline it even
thought the Merc dealer service history is included since the car was new.
Engine oil looked nice and clear, although the engine itself is dirty and in
need of several Sunday afternoons.  Just itching to get some degreaser clean
rags to it.
