All this talk of big horsepower reminded me of the USA and its love of monstrous engines back in the 50s and 60s. Meanwhile in Europe there was the mini- and bubble car revolution. One of the most popular, for instance, was the Goggomobil (hundreds of thousands built):-
1957 Goggomobil T-250 Sedan
Now, the specifications.....hold your breath, this won't hurt a bit......two cylinder two stroke with a whopping 13.6 horsepower!!!
