[W126 Coupe] Engine Swap

...and, not to be a further wet blanket, but...

Even assuming you go forward and successfully accomplish this swap,
what will you have? Either a very nice 85 Euro or a very nice 89 US
(can't tell which way you're going), but either way it'll have the
wrong engine and not be worth much. On the other hand, if you
consider the current value of the car(s) you currently have, sell
that/those off, add the money you would have spent on this project,
and then take all of that and go shopping, you'll surely find a very,
very nice 91 560 SEC which you can detail out to your heart's
content. That'll be a much nicer end result than a "bastardized"
500/560--85/89--Euro/US model. (IMHO)

Of course, what Satish did and what Mike Ramay is doing is a
completely different project altogether. Their end results are much
nicer than a high quality, stock or semi-stock 560 SEC.

Just my two cents, and almost worth every bit of that!
