[W126 Coupe] Mercedes stock shocks, HD or comfort?

....and another variable is rim size, which affects what kind of tires you
can use (sidewall heigth and stiffness, tire pressure, etc.)

So a standard wheel, 15" with 205/65 tires and 30 psi air, will feel very
different from Mike's set up with 18" rims and 245/40 tires, sport springs
and 40 psi air, even though they they both run standard (comfort) shocks.

AMG recommended that one should run their sports shocks if one installed
their sports springs. The argument was that they worked better together and
that using soft shocks with longer travel together with stiffer springs with
short travel was not a good idea.
