Hi James:

That sounds like a tall order.  You've got the sill height and you have 
the shallow turning radius due to the transmission hum.  I think you 
would need to install a shallow seat bucket that is on a pedestal to 
make what you suggest work.  Perhaps there is an existing seat off of 
another manufacturer's vehicle that could be fitted.
