Agreed, in the dry and "warm" weather they are fine. But in April when it was still in the 40's out, not quite so, although now I also realize the fact the accumulators were shot may have added to that (since I got quite a bit of overall tire spin quite easily). But the first time I hit some drizzle in August last year and went to make a turn and the car almost spun around, I was less than happy! I think the answer is I need to move...ha ha!Markus Meyer484-919-9762 (cell)http://www.meyerprobateproperties.com/--- On Mon 06/26, Mike R. < mramay at att.biz > wrote:

And to add some more confusion, I have the18” Kuhmo’s and love them, but I live in Las Vegas where it doesn’t rain anddoesn’t get cold (which is why I live there). The Kuhmo’s have areasonably soft sidewall, important with 18” rims, and stick quite well(on dry pavement). They’re round and quiet.

Michelins are generally great, renownedfor round tires, and last well.

Ron,That's a tough one. What is your most important criteria, what kind of rims do you have, any suspension mods? Where do you live, what kind of driver are you? I had Continentals (don't remember which ones) when I bought the car, stock wheels/setup and hated them - drove like an old lady car and fishtailed at the slightest dampness on the road. After lowering the car and getting 18 inch wheels, I switched to Dunlop sport 9000's and loved them, any weather (except snow I hear - but wouldn't know this from experience), but they are only meant to last 20-30K miles. I since switched to Kuhmo's on several members recommendations and hate them. They don't do well in the cold, or the rain either for that matter, and won't get them again. I know others that love Michelins, but they tend to be pricey (if cost matters).Markus Meyer484-919-9762 (cell)http://www.meyerprobateproperties.com/--- On Mon 06/26, RSLeeH2O at aol.com < RSLeeH2O at aol.com > wrote:
