[W126 Coupe] Horn selector switch

Hello Vance,
Yeah, I've thought of that it's just that I'm such a damned perfectionist and that is difficult to change. I just like to make things right, proper, follow the path laid out by the maker you know, That is why a Mercedes is a Mercedes. Of course if I can't get one I'll have to solder the wires to the sleeves and plug them in like that without the little plastic box like you say and in stead use shrink tubing, but it won't make me proud of having done something right.

Thanks for your response,
Carl

  Hi Carl,

If you have the actual switch itself, why not just use a bit of solder, a soldering iron and some heat shrink. It's not as if you plan on unplugging it every week or so. That would certainly do the job.

  Regards,
  Vance.

    Help somebody, please.
I have installed a set of compressor horns on my SEC and I need the plug that attaches to the back of the selector switch on the dash. Apparently the Euro SEC's are the only Mercedes cars that are equipped with city and highway horns. For some reason mine did not have that feature so I installed the compressor horns. The local M-B dealer supplied me with the proper switch but couldn't get me the connector plug. Any ideas out there where I can scare one up?
    Regards,
    Carl, 560 SEC
