Fair comment Carl. I can understand what you mean. If it's correct that you can only get these on the Euro versions, then try the following link.

http://www.dronsfields.co.uk/

I have had a number of used and new parts from them in the past for my Euro 560 here in the UK. I can't imagine it would cost much to ship over if they have what you want. Drop them a line. Might be worth a try.

Good luck,

Vance.

  Hello Vance,
Yeah, I've thought of that it's just that I'm such a damned perfectionist and that is difficult to change. I just like to make things right, proper, follow the path laid out by the maker you know, That is why a Mercedes is a Mercedes. Of course if I can't get one I'll have to solder the wires to the sleeves and plug them in like that without the little plastic box like you say and in stead use shrink tubing, but it won't make me proud of having done something right.

  Thanks for your response,
  Carl

    Hi Carl,

If you have the actual switch itself, why not just use a bit of solder, a soldering iron and some heat shrink. It's not as if you plan on unplugging it every week or so. That would certainly do the job.

    Regards,
    Vance
