[W126 Coupe] Horn selector switch

Hello Dick,
My dealer ordered the switch and I have it, The wires are in and the horns
are working but through an ordinary off-the-shelf toggle switch, not
becoming a Mercedes especially not an SEC.
My dealer is aware of the plug connector I need and he's been trying to
order one without success, apparently this old type of connector is out
dated and no longer available from Mercedes.
I went to an aftermarket shop whose owner's been working on and dismantling
M-B's forever, he's the guy who told me that they only come on Euro SEC's,
so now I'm totally lost.
He did give me the sockets and a plug and I thought it could be modified but
that's not the case.
Also I'm not worried about originality as far as the horns and their
location. Like I said they are already in and working.
The original twin horns are like you say fitted on the fan stay where they
are supposed to be. I just added these long chrome plated trumpets like the
ones on transport trucks only I didn't fit them on the roof but on a bracket
I made up from aluminum to the inside right front fender using existing
holes.
I could rig the proper sockets to fit the pins in the back of the switch but
being the perfectionist that I am I want to see if I can't locate the proper
plastic plug in which the sockets/sleeves fit. Bear in mind that they are
all different for the different switches. It has to have the right hole
pattern.
I enclose two pictures, one showing the wrong plug connector (two parts) and
the reverse side of the switch.
Thank you for your efforts.
Carl
