[W126 Coupe] Cigar lighter adapter for cell phone radar detector

Sorry, I thought my reply was too simplistic.  But my cell charger works 
fine (Motorola) in my SEC, although it appears to be a tiny bit too small.  
It has never blown a fuse.  Do both your cell charger AND the radar blow a 
fuse?

My previous phone, Nokia, worked fine too.

And I have a Panasonic TV that works fine from the lighter socket also.

Of course, my Motorola charger works in my Ford as well and, yes, it fits 
more snugly, but it doesn't seem to make any difference.
