[W126 Coupe] Brakes

Hi Guys, 
   
      I have a question for you all.  Would my emergency brake shoes cause the rear brakes to sqeal loudly when I back up like a bus squealing to a stop? They only squeal when I apply the brakes backing up now.  If I apply the brakes firmly, they don't squeal at all.  I am getting new rotors, pads, and brake sensor cables, but I wanted to know also if the rear brakes have the wear sensor cables like the front or not?  I figure I might as well get it all while I am in there before I head out to Vegas this summer and discover around Vail, Colorado that I have no brakes.
