[W126 Coupe] Another AC Problem

Use a bar of hand soap to rub on the surfaces of the belts and see if the 
noise changes or disappears.  Worn belts, not necessarily LOOKING bad, can 
make a whole range of weird noises including mimicking main bearings shot.  
Treat one belt at a time to identify which one(s)

If you haven't already eliminated this, try it.  It costs nothing.
