[W126 Coupe] Another AC Problem

Jason,
There is definitely not 2 different sets of noises, only 1 which keeps the
same pitch regardless of speed. Given that the compressor has not
historically made noise, is it possible that it should all of a sudden have
too much oil in the system?

How much deflection should I see in the belt to determine if it is loose?
Tom

Tom,

It could be one that you have too much oil in the system. Yes, it will cool
but it may make a horrible noise and possible with higher rpm make a
screeching noise like bearings. If your getting two different set of noises
then your compressor is shot its way to death.

Jason
