[W126 Coupe] from wheels to tires

I never really liked Michelin. I like the Dunlop SP5000's, though only
in certain sizes (I know 225/55 16 is one of the sizes, I think the
cutoff for the asymmetrical pattern is 55 profile). They felt on edge
for the first 1000 miles but after that they settled in nicely and
handle well.

Thanks for the replies everyone.

 

I think I will just stick with my 16" and buy some new rubber for
them...  which leads to the next question...  favorite Michelin tire?
I switched from pirelli to Michelin about 8 years ago.. and liked the
smoother ride.  I have Michelin HGTV4  or something like that... and I
like the looks of those pilot sports.

Any comments?
