[W126 Coupe] Wiper controls

Hein;

Well, I'M not going to take MINE apart just to see what's wrong with yours!

Your option would be a used wiper switch assembly.  A NEW one (Part # 126 
545 31 24) is about $125US.  If you have access to a wrecker with a Benz, 
the assembly is the same as the SE or SEL, 380 or 500.

Assuming that you don't have airbag, the steering wheel must come off, the 
panel under the dash, TWO mulit connectors unplugged under the dash, and 
three screws hold the entire assembly at the steering column including the 
cruise control (if so equipped)  It is pretty simple.  The only caution 
would be to try NOT using the steering lock to hold the steering wheel while 
trying to get the 10,000 ft/lb steering wheel bolt off.  Have Arnold 
Swarzengger hold the wheel for you.

I imagine he's available.

I could see if I can price it here, OR I may have a used one..........
