[W126 Coupe] Wiper controls

I'm an idiot!! :-))

My wiper control knob fell apart on the SEC today.

I put it back together, but it would not stay closed with the spring in place.......so I used superglue to keep it in place.

Now.....

....as soon as I turn the ignition on, the winshield washer kicks into gear and sprays like an ox at auction day....but for longer!!

Anyone have some pictures to e-mail me of what the internals of the wipe control knob should look like when you put it together the RIGHT way? :-))
