[W126 Coupe] FACTORY ALARM COMING ON AND STAYING ON WHILE DRIVING.

I think you may be oversimplifying things here. It's true that once inside
the car it's pretty easy to disable pieces of the alarm if you know where
to do it. However, if the alarm is set and you are either in the passenger
compartment or outside the car it looks pretty good to me. The following
will set off the alarm:
- opening a door from the inside or outside
- pressing on the brake pedal
- removing the radio
- removing the instrument cluster
- opening the hood or trunk
- towing the car (assuming the tip sensor is still OK and not disabled)
- either shorting or turning on the ignition

This seems pretty comprehensive to me.

Jim Ham
