I've used air tools my entire career as a technician, and I've also used torque wrenches for exactly the same length of time. Air tools are great time savers when tearing down a car, or reassembling. But I was taught at a very young age by people who knew what they were doing, that they are NEVER to be used for final tightening, that was what torque wrenches were for. I own three Snap-on torque wrenches, a 3/8" drive graduated in inch pounds, a 3/8" that covers 15-100 ft./lbs., and a 1/2" drive to handle 50-300 ft./lbs. That way I've got all the bases covered.
Later,
Chris

Always torque lug bolts with a torque wrench to specs (or any nut or bolt for that matter), there's less chance of screwing up things if you follow a few basic rules of mechanics.
