- Ambient noise level (wind, engine, AC, tires, other traffic, etc.)
Can be significantly decreased with improved sound dampening.
- 12 volt DC electrical system (not enough power)
Separate Amps in the trunk or footwells.
- Impossible to phase control speakers (separate positioning and angles of
tweeters, midrange and woofer drivers)
Why not? Mine are.
- Acousitcal environment (angled surfaces, seats, headrests, mix of hard and
soft surfaces)
Tough, but possible to minimize with careful planning and experimentation.
- Constraines space (no "air" for sound propagation)
yup, that's a problem for sure, but you can always lower all the windows in
the SEC, and set the different soundstages for open air versus closed.
