[W126 Coupe] Bleeding Brakes

I am having one heck of a time bleeding the brakes on my AMG.  I am doing the press pedal, open bleeder valve. method.  'trouble is the bleeder keeps bleeding air with a small amount of fluid but no large squirks.  I must have done this for half an hour before my son and I got tired.  Yes I have ABS, but am I missing something here?  In intend to buy a one person bleeder but cannot get it delivered until next week.  Any suggestions anyone?
