[W126 Coupe] Lights Off topic!

Actually, you have to find a way to get LEDs with a HIGHER draw. The
problem is the relays (don't know how it actually works, just what happens)
sense a certain amount of current has passed, and switch off, then sense a
certain amount of current, then switch back on, alternatively, the relays
might work so that the lights blink on and off very quickly.. Resistors
just suck up electric, to allow LEDs to match the current that the regular
bulbs were pulling. Ideally, you install SO MANY LEDS that it matches the
current of the regular bulb, which will result in significantly greater
light output.

Otherwise, you can just buy resistors at radio shack. This all assumes the
system works similarly to the system in the my mind.

Resistors are cheap, so you can just take the old bulb and the new bulb and
ask radioshack or someone to tell you which one to use. Then try it out and
see if it works, before installing anything permanently.

Eddie, Iain,

It answers my questions! Can you help with this a little more? "Resistors
In line".

I have found LED flashers that require less draw to trigger them but like I
said they go for about $35.00! I guess that's the correct way out.

Eddie, you are right on with the LEDS not having enough resistance, and your
response to correct is right one the button.

Also, are you going to put a deceleration switch in with the LEDS? These new
systems, actually not so new, been out for a couple of years, just not here,
flash faster the higher the deceleration rate, some also get brighter.
