I have done the same thing. The report you get has all the
Info about your car, with receipts and pictures. If you are
Not a PARKING LOT QUEEN [" STEVE NERVIG "] and drive your
Car 30 K a year, it is a must to have. With all the people
On the road that can't drive, it is just a matter of
Time before They T - BONE you.

Pay the money to have a professional appraisal performed. Mine cost
around
$250 and it was the biggest reason I doubled my return from the other
guys
insurance company. I found an appraisal company in the yellow pages, did
a
little internet searching about them to verify credibility, and then
called
them up. They were done in a week.
Thanks,

Hello List,
As ya'll might remember, my 87 560SEL was involved in an accident
about 2 months ago. I'm now at an unsatisfactory cross roads w/ the
Insurance company of the lady who hit me.
As it stands now, I have receipts from the last two years totaling in
excess of $13,000. The company is offering my 8000.00 and they keep
the car, if I keep the car they are offering 5200. I've been told i
can take the lady that hit me to small claims to try and force the
insurance company to re-evaluate.
Any advise as to what my next step should be? I'm aiming for the
8000+ mark and I keep my car.
Many Thanks!!!
Jonathan
