[W126 Coupe] Blower Motor - Whistling Sound

Has anyone ever gotten a whistling sound from the heater/AC blower?  Mine does this a little. It's quiet now, but I'm pretty sure t will get worse.  Can I just take it out and lubricate it, or is this the kind of thing best left to the pros?  Any direction would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!
