Also, if the rebuilder didn't replace ALL the o-rings in there, a bad one
can crack and cause the tranny to lose pressure at a critical point
internally - you're not going anywhere. The o-rings that came out of my '87
560SEL (225,000 mi) were brittle, with NO flexibility. I backed out of a
parking place and when I went to Drive, that was it. Immediately it had no
drive to the wheels at all. I even got under the car to see if the drive
shaft was turning to verify that the differential was intact.

I'd make sure your rebuilder completely disassembled the tranny and replaced
ALL the soft parts in there.

Parked during the Atlanta ice on the weekend and drove sunday from about
5:45 pm Sunday to the gas station, filled with gas and drove about 15 miles

before slowing and stopping.  Just at dusk.
