Officially, by the specs, the 240 is the smallest lens that will cover 8x10.
There were 270, and the more familiar 305 and 355 lenses, but these fit a
Copal #3 shutter, whereas the 270 -> 210 all fit a #1.  I suggest you try
something and see if you are happy......  Remember that a lot of
discussion/heresay comes about without comments about movements.....  Is the
lens always centered?  Or does the user have wild movements and therefore
the lens will not cover.....

Now, if you want movements, that also requires a longer lens....now you are
talking the 270/305/355

The 250 WF Ektar is the ticket for low priced WA on 8x10... it allows gobs
of movements.  It also helps to get you excersise picking it up!  The Ilex
#5 will encourage slow speed shots ( only goes to 1/50, as I rememeber).
The best part however is that the lens is F6.3,  If you have never focused a
WA lens that is this fast, you are in for a treat.....  it is like a TV set
under the GG... bright and really nice.....
