The Dallmeyer sounds a clever device - vaguely remember seeing one of these
on Ebay a while back. Would be very interested to hear how it performs -
how about a digital snap of the beast for the "Equipment" topic in the f32
Forum? Thanks for the kind offer to let me play with one of your new toys
;-) What is the range of focal lengths?

Big Bend looks like a great place for some LF shooting. Must have been
challenging riding a 'cycle through the heat at the lower altitudes - or
did you throw caution to the wind and only wear the leathers at night? :-)

The names of Rio Grande, Chihuahua and Mexicali are all in our culture here
in the UK through the pervasive Western films watched avidly by at least a
couple of generations..... Have only vague plans at the moment but it may
be the case that the next trip will start further West and take a route
through Death Valley then over to Nevada, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico,
Texas. The only drawback with this route is that the car would have to be
dumped in Texas and a flight back to (probably) Vegas or SF - suppose that
Austin might be an option though for a return flight to the UK.....

Anyway, thanks for the URL. Will there be wild flowers on October?

Cheers,

All the best,
