Don,

Ran my had over the focusing track last night briefly and didn't feel any 
gears - if I get the time tonight will take a quick digital snap and put it 
up on the f32 Discussion Forum at http://www.f32.net/discus/

It may be the case that the head runs on a Vee track in which case there 
may be "jib" adjustments similar to those on a lathe bed if you are 
familiar with this concept.

Since carrying out a huge clean up operation in other parts of the house, 
the darkroom is temporarily home to items ranging from a motorbike to a 
guitar amp in addition to large format cameras on tripods, furniture and of 
course the enlargers and sinks etc.  Bit of a 'mare to sort out but it is 
now top of the list....
