Michele,
  I don't remember you.  We should have met somehow, cause we knew the same people about the same time.  Anyway, tell me more about the horses.  So far, our family ranch hand does not want any horses, because they are trouble to take care of, and we don't have all the facilities for them. He does know what needs to be done, and we do have 70 acres of fenced property with a half-dozen cows and lots of chickens.  I can email 'FarmerKen' the information about the two horses, run it by him to see what he says. Don't want any potbellied pigs, thanks anyway.

Looks like I have to leave for a country with health care, so I'm 
looking for a kind home for 2 old horses to finish out their lives with 
a guarantee that they'll never face the hot bolt of the slaughter 
house. Otherwise for peace of mind, they'll be put down. Should you 
know of such a trustworthy place, I'd appreciate a reply. There are 4 
potbellied pigs as well. The chickens, I will turn loose.
