Connie! I do remember you well. I had darker red
hair-auburn—dated porterfield for a while—danced danced danced at every
party. We shared rides from time to time.
Of course, I know pot-bellied pigs are not wanted by most, although
these have never been guilty of rooting up crops. Still, I know the
out-come on that.
Flea-bit grey Arab mare is 31yrs! Can't be ridden because of
founder which has needed no treatment for several years. I suppose a
light-weight EXTREMELY good rider might be ok. She still has all the
fire of her kind and the great dark eyes. Not fond of humans, she does
respond to a male better than female. Loves the heat—hardly makes it
through the cold. RaDenda has an impressive bloodline, but all that
matters not at this stage. Dakota's age is not exactly known, but he
too is old. A once magnificent tri-colored big paint quarter horse with
born cow-sense. Has the neck, chest and hind quarters of the old King
Ranch lines. Still can ride, but out of shape and one knee needs a
ferrier who really knows how to shape. They have neither worn shoes for
some time. At this point they just need crimped oats, some hay and
water and shelter. Certainly, I expect to buy their feed, etc. A place
to die naturally is the short of it. Thanks so much for responding, if
you can help, or not, it is good of you to enquire.
Sincerely, Michele
ps It breaks my heart to think of not touching them again, or smelling
that wonderful sweet breath, but I'm guessing you know that already.
Dakota is a big sweetie and generous with his kisses.
