What about "Horcrux-Promotion"? (Taken from the Harry Potter universe, maybe
the English term is different). The Dark Lord (a piece) duplicates itself
(promotes) in order that if he (the original piece) dies the duplicate (the
promotee) survives. This would be a nice analogon to Phoenix.
