In proof games, one can look at the records (number of single-colored
promotions) to get a good idea of the various difficulties concerning the
Ceriani-Frolkin type :

- Bishop 5
- Knight 4 with some place for additional effects. Getting 5 is a hard
task but probably possible to achieve.
- Queen 4 and probably impossible to reach 5.
- Rock 4 and surely impossible to reach 5.

For Pronkin type, one have to look at the various difficulties to achieve
the returning paths. This gives :

- Rock
- Queen
- Bishop
- Knight

As a matter of fact, Unto and I recently constructed, independently, a
"balanced" AUW, that is half Ceriani-Frolkin and half Pronkin. Not
surprising, both of us chosed Bishop and Knight for the Ceriani-Frolkin
part, and Rock and Queen for the Pronkin one...

Nicolas.
