Gerry, "boorish" behavior is in the eyes of the beholder. Considering
what I see on the five other lists I manage, this one is pretty tame.
The rudest behavior I see is the failure to edit out long digests and
other excessively long quotebacks. Fair warning: if I manage the old
list, people who do that will be put on moderation or unsubscribed.
I am not trying to get to you to discontinue -- just setting up a
process for better maintenance of the existing list depending on which
way the consensus falls. If you want a new list, don't quit after just
12 days.
