The marine formulation with more corrosion inhibitors and varnish 
solvents is probably in response to higher-humidity environments and 
most boats sit idle with tanks full of aging fuel more so than wheeled 
vehicles.  Therefore, for the additives - a little do good, a lot do gooder.
