[W126 Coupe] Passenger Window Problems

Hi Bob,
Place two plastic or wood shims in the brush area to the outside of the
glass to hold that window in place first... Then proceed with removing
the interior door panel to inspect the regulator, lift arm where the
nylon plastic guide slides and the regulator attachment (typically 10mm
bolts and perhaps one 10mm nut) to the door metal structure. There is
also a small possibility that either the motor teeth or regulator teeth
are worn or the motor gear retainer to the regulator is cracked. You
can initially inspect these using a lite and mirror without having to
physically drop the regulator out of the door frame. Then ask for help
based on what you see.
Do you need instructions on the door panel removal?
