[W126 Coupe] What is the trick for removing and replacing the battery in a 1984 500 SEC

Hi Lisa,

Lift up the washer fluid reservoir slightly so you can see the battery
tray hold down bolt and plate. The plate is held in place by probably
a 10mm nut. You will need a 1/4 or 3/8 drive socket wrench and perhaps
a 6 inch extension to reach the nut. Remove the nut and the plate
should come free. The plate snugs up the lip on the base of the old
battery holding it firmly in place on the tray.
