It may depend on exactly which regulator you were sold -- they come in
different charging voltages. The optimum voltage is
temperature-dependent: <http://landiss.com/battery.htm>. Even at 60C
under the hood it should charge at more than 14.0VDC and 14.2VDC would
be better if you have a lead/calcium or hybrid battery.

Check the ground strap from the battery to the chassis. Remove it,
scrape the surfaces, put it together with a star-shaped lockwasher
digging into the sheet metal.

Body roll on turns -- it was designed as a luxury car, not a racer. If
you want to corner fast get the alignment shop to set the front camber a
half-degree or more negative.
