Hi Marcus,
Not an expert but paint I just use spray detergent then brush to loosen up caked on dirt then hose off. Spray some wax on the motor then rinse. If you have an air compressor..blow the motor dry.

Just detailing my car and doing the engine.

Anyone know of a good way to clean up the paintwork in the engine bay?

It is quite 'dry' compared to the exterior and is difficult to polish or make it look spotless.

I guess it hasn't had a buff over it from the factory so it's still quite raw.

Any tips from the experts?
