As always, great how-to post Gerry. I replaced my expansion tank (and windshield washer fluid tank) a couple of years ago on my coupe and you are correct, it makes a world of difference to the looks of your engine compartment. And like you for the W126, I found them relatively inexpensive for the W124 also. Highly recommended update.
