Hi Bob,
That is indeed unfortunate. I would ask the mechanic to provide the
written warranty and the receipt from the radiator supplier. Then make
a few phone calls. A replacement radiator should last 10 years not 24
months. I would not do anything to your cooling system to stop the leak
as this can cause the heated wiper parking bladders, heater core,
auxiliary pumps, etc. to collect the stop leak material and bring on
other damage. I feel you have a good case for holding the mech. to
replace that radiator with another! Just my 2.
