[W126 Coupe] low left rear end question

Rear diff mount can cause the lean. It's rubber. The clunk noise is probably the rubber shock bushings. They get compressed over the years and when you go over certain bumps you get the noise. Cheap fix but pia to do. You have to drop the hydraulic shocks toy change the lower and upper bushings.
